National Sustainability Roadshow complete

The CBA's national roadshow was presented to members and construction professionals in 9 cities across South Africa. It provided facts and figures on sustainability and green building, recent changes to SABS standard with regard to clay brick masonry construction and the electricity savings possible due to the thermal performance of clay brick. Our specialist guest speaker, Henk Sa, reviewed the 2017 and 2018 Legislation on carbon tax and emissions for the clay brick sector.

This was also our opportunity to introduce the CBA's exciting new project which is co-funded by the European Union - "Promoting inclusive sustainable practices in the South Africa Clay brick sector." This project will provide the CBA with funding to continue our sustainability programme which impacts on Carbon Tax.
