In a city known for its beauty, the Cape Town Aquarium remains one of the mother city’s top attractions – and it happens to be built from clay brick! Our members and their partners made quite a splash in their tuxedos and evening gowns.
2017 Honorary Member
At the gala dinner, The Clay Brick Association of South Africa paid tribute to Ronnie Dunn, and thanked him for his invaluable contribution to innovation and efficiency in our industry as well as his sponsorship of many CBA events.
Ronnie Dunn of BMMS is a rare person indeed – in fact to our knowledge he is the first Associate Member to be awarded Honorary Membership of the CBA. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a brick-maker at heart. Ronnie is internationally renowned for his in-depth knowledge of every facet of clay brick making, and has been at the other end of the phone for most of us when we needed an emergency equipment problem solved.Ronnie is known for his commitment to ongoing learning in the industry. For many years he has introduced local brick-makers to international technology at the annual USA Clemson University field trips.
